6 Wedding Invitation Add-Ons That Make a Statement
If you decide to work with a professional wedding invitation designer for your wedding, great! That means you’re off to a great start. If your budget allows, there are several enhancements that can really make an extra statement to your invitation suite. Here are six of my favorites…
1. Calligraphy Addressing
Addressing your envelopes with amazing handwritten calligraphy adds a personal touch to your invitations that make your guests super excited to open the envelope.
2. Vintage Stamp Curation // Custom Stamp Creation
Adding a carefully curated group of vintage stamps to match the theme and color scheme of your invitation suite adds an incredible touch that most people don’t think of doing. Another great option, as an alternative to vintage stamps, is custom stamps. Most of the East Avenue Creations wedding invitations include some sort of monogram or crest that is repeated on different pieces. Custom stamps would be a great opportunity to use that monogram, or something similar.
3. Envelope Liners
To elevate your envelopes one step further past calligraphy addressing is to include liners on the inside. A beautiful print, pattern, or design or any sort always looks incredible when your guests pop that envelope open.
Tying your invitations together with gorgeous hand-dyed silk, velvet, or classic stain is incredibly elegant and screams luxury.
5. Wax Seals
Wax seals are an amazing add on to not only your wedding stationery but can be included other places as well. Think programs, menus, welcome bag tags/notes, favor tags, and so much more.
6. Vellum Wraps // Belly Bands
A way to keep your invitations secure through mailing, so they don’t move around within the envelope, is vellum wraps or belly bands. Chose to either leave them blank or have them printed, they make the perfect addition to your set.
So, what do ya think?! Would you add any of these enhancements to your wedding invitation suite? If you’re interested, let’s chat!
